Black, eight times. Across it, lines in red, yellow, white and light blue loop, cross, vanish at one edge and reappear on the next panel. At the top a blue band zigzags, at the bottom a green one – two pulse beats that hold the tangle together.
A work from the beginnings, years before the reduction to brilliant blue, magenta and cadmium yellow. Whoever follows a line loses it and finds another. Order only reveals itself from a distance.
Behind your reception desk the panels hang however you like: in a row, as a block or freely arranged. While they wait, your visitors follow a line – and forget the clock.
