Layer upon layer, stroke by stroke. The paint has been dragged, scraped and applied again until a dense grid of verticals and horizontals emerges, carried by a great deal of yellow with a hint of gold metallic paint, along with red and black.
Within it, violet, blue and white flash; red glows at the edge. Vertical streaks run like lights on wet asphalt, and in many places the paint stands thick and raised.
Every city has its own pulse: footsteps, brakes, voices, light in the windows. Here everything is present at once, and still the eye finds its rhythm, streak by streak.
On the gallery upstairs it sets the beat: every time you walk along the railing, you read a different street in it.
