One spike, then another. Three canvases, the same wave three times over a black ground: on the left in luminous blue, in the middle in magenta, on the right in yellow. Jagged strokes rise and fall, mirrored like the curve of a sound.
Through each centre runs the same narrow band of nine colours, from red through yellow and green to violet and white. Every stroke ends sharply, as if cut off mid-sound, and the black gaps in between feel like pauses.
Feelings have a volume. The same tone sounds cool in blue, warm in magenta, bright in yellow – three moods on a single line. Il cuore batte a colori – the heart beats in colours.
On the long wall of your hallway, three panels side by side, the waves pull you into the day a little faster every morning.
