Two canvases, one blaze. On the left, red arcs strike through a yellow centre, black strokes fly like sparks to the edge. On the right, a red oval closes around the fire, and in the middle a thick white strand of paint rises – impasto, almost tangible.
An early work, painted before brilliant blue, magenta and cadmium yellow defined the visual language. First the blaze, then the form that holds it. What burns makes room.
Inferno e Rinascita has found its owner. The same glow runs through the triptych Inferno in Movimento. Or you can request a similar work – in your format, for your wall.
